I'm not talking brutal, or angry or depressed or fast or slow or heavy or whatever. Just fucking pissed off. Potentially cathartic, but that's a secondary consideration.

I edited to point out that I clearly can't operate the post machine. That's Life Time by Rollins Band, you'll just have to trust me that it's very angry.

Although, when I'm in a shitty mood I go for the Minor Threat "Complete Discography." By the end, I'm usually stable enough.

Had epiphany some years back.
On records... but especially live... most of my fav loud band music has a drummer who sounds pissed at the drumkit :animal:
Also poor posture.

Most pissed off frontman I've ever seen in a live performance. The way his face grimaces and his neck bulges. I saw them play a floor show in a tiny venue in 2002, and Chris is just stomping back and forth screaming "GET OFF MY BACK!" in the faces of everyone standing in the front row. He must get a lot of headaches.
