Re: ELECTRIC APPLE!
so i played it alongside a Miracle Rabbit just now... and I feel I really like the voicing of both of them, however as far as distortion/breakup, the electric apple definitely gets into the same territory and as the rabbit. so i think i will be changing the rabbit a bit for a bit more juice

This thing is getting me excited. In my mind I imagine it's the Mellowtone response to the Penny Pedals Lowfuzz...we'll see.

Although I like clean blends and all I really only see the need for them on extreme stuff. To me Anything in the OD range should be able to hold it's own. The TONE CONTROL is why I am hyped about this with out even hearing it yet, more things need tone controls IMOP.
I almost always use "guitar" ODs without a blender. The funny thing is the only OD I needed a blend with was the HAO Rust Ride which IS a bass OD and I ended up switching to their Rumble Mod after a while and I never needed a blend with it.

This sounds ace
THe Mellowtone stuff I have is impeccably tasteful, even when apeshit.
