Earth hasn't been using big amps for a long time. They don't really need them with the sort of music they've been making for the last decade or so, either?

Yeah i know he's scaled back but the sound at the venue was half-assed so it left me wanting more. I saw them a few years back right after the last record dropped; it was in a small bar and he was using an old marshall half stack. jmp, maybe? not miked, just loud and mean. this time it was all house pa in a medium theater style place and the sound guy couldn't figure out how to stop blasting squelchy high pitched feedback through the drum monitor. adrienne looked really frustrated / pissed. i'm not trying to trash talk, they did what they could with the situation and were pros about it. i don't expect a dude pushing 50 to haul walls of amps around and in 2016 you shouldn't need to. i just wanted LOUDER cowboy funeral jams.
