got one in a trade, it was so gunked up with glue and velcro and some of the paint was pretty crappy, so I have started stripping it down to re-paint,
what a pain!!!
won't heat strip
currently using a stripping wheel on my angle grinder, works but is slightly swirling the metal
anyone do this?
Why did I do this??

Steeper or shallower? It looks like my two (older) PTs have their feet secured by some sort of pop rivet. If that's the case, they're pretty easy to drill out since they need to be made of a fairly soft metal to work. Failing that, you can knock out the center with a small screwdriver and a few sharp blows from a mallet, and then mangle the top off with a good pair of pliers.
Add washers to whichever side you want to raise, and button it back up.

raise slightly
enough to fit in a pedal patch bay
I may cut the rubber feet of completely and do wooden sides
I have some recycled pallets that would work nicely
need to know if it will fit in a case like that and build a center support up
