Yeah, EQD pedals can be kinda hit or miss for me. Some are great and some are just OK.

This pedal is close to the top of my want list. I currently don't have a true chorus pedal (I don't think the chorus mode on my Memory Boy counts).

I thought the Sea Machine was a really nice pedal when I tried it. They did a good job of creating a unique kinda control set.
But I kinda class chorus/flange effects into digital and analog categories because of the overall 'sheen' and how they interact with dirt so differently (not one being better than the other, just really notable differences).
Polytope is the fucking champion of digital chorus, and the Cosmichorus for analog chorus, so i'd only take the SM over those if you really need that extra little bit of echo and and wobbliness that it can pull off (which is totally valid, it's not for everyone but that suits some people perfectly).
