HAHAHHAHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
That said I'm pretty sure the verse bits of Not Falling(?) has some really great bass playing in it.

Really loved LD50. That was the shit back when I was like 17 man and I still listen to it.
I've dug a ton of Slipknots stuff. Even their later stuff but in a different way. Maybe it's because I've seen them live several times and it kind helps change your input on them because of how fucking cool it is too see all them dudes jamming at once. The first two album for fucking sure were the best though.

I couldn't get into the s/t Slipknot record when it came out, but Iowa was an instant hit. I like s/t more now than I did before, but Iowa is still better. Crushing riffs, solid production. Great from start to finish. s/t has a few skippable tracks.
Never understood why they released Wait & Bleed as the lead single. It's among the weakest tracks on the album IMO

Same on Iowa > s/t. My guess on the single would be that Wait & Bleed has the most singing on it and is therefore the most radio-friendly.More_Divebombs wrote:I couldn't get into the s/t Slipknot record when it came out, but Iowa was an instant hit. Count me in. Mudvayne, incidently, is the band I've seen the most times by accident. I've been to at least 3-4 shows where they were openers.foomanfat wrote:I'm on team "Those first two Slipknot albums are pretty good."
