I'm definitely feeling it's based off the Juno, filter sounds Roland-esque and that lettering across the top/sliders are a direct rip of the Juno interface.

This explains part of my scepticism, I've always been a Roland hater!

Yup, I fucking love Roland synths. My first "real" analog synth was a Roland SH-2 and it was so much fun to play! Before I found out about the minilogue, I was all set to get that new Roland System-1 synth. It looks really fun to play with!

If i was gonna get an 80s poly, i'd get another Ensoniq ESQ-1, but the Junos especially, and other Roland Polysynths are fucking classics for a reason. If i needed that sound, i'd try to get an MKS-50 or a JU-06 or something, but a Roland would be the way to go.

Uli from Behringer made a post that the Deep Mind 12 is going to be expensive. Who knows what that means coming from Behringer, but it is going to have wi-fi connectivity with internet capability? It's getting weird.

Guessing it was changed under legal consultation. Phatty is Moog's thing. Phat12 would def lead to c&d if it didn't already.

That's one that I'm not sure would hold - Phatty, yea, but..it's a generic term for what it is and as long as it's not very, very close, they'd be golden (and gods know what various trademarks they've bought in the various acquisitions from TC et al).

But I also think the Moog "Phatty" is an insult to intelligence as well, so one less phat product is a good thing.
