I was thinking of doing a project called Fill up glass...gonna hate?
You know, for a while, i actually thought Kevin Shields, the project, was Kevin Shields, the man, but with a solo Noise project.
She got me good...
I can't recall having heard KS any time recently, so it's hard to even say whether I like her material, but I always thought it was kind of funny... Maybe she just really likes MBV enough to take the piss out of people by using Kevin's name... I'd be flattered if someone did that with mine!

the thing is kevin shields usaully performs as a member of another project. i think caldera lakes is one of the better noise groups ever, and she is a pretty insane performer. plus she makes a lot of her own electronics she performs with. i think the name thing was a trend in noise performers of the early 00's to pay homage to influences. the main dude in realicide calls himself robert inhuman, for example. i also don't hink she comes from a scene that goes out of their way to be "arty"
