I used to be really into fusion right when I started playing bass and somewhere around the time I saw Victor Wooten give a bass seminar and do these 30 minute loop pedal fusion/slap bass solos, I completely went off the stuff.

I remember Jonas Hellborg and Shawn Lane fondly, but I don't touch fusion these days.
