i talked to evan about this and explained that there were a few folks who had similar issues. power cycling would generally fix it. very difficult to diagnose for sure, which is why i've been very slow with the rework of the circuit and want it to be rock solid before it comes out again. like i've said, i'll swap out anyones older one for a newer one if they're having the same issue. it's still perplexing to me as i had a version running for like a month on different power supplies, etc. without any issues whatsoever...goroth wrote:My no memory did all sorts of shit like this.
But it was intermittent and therefore hard to diagnose.
Tbh I think the no Mem was a brilliant but flawed design.

Re: Having a frustrating time with pedals lately
Mime would be working perfectly for weeks and then suddenly not pass wet signal until I unplugged and plugged it back in, or it would sometimes give me artifacts, then be back to working perfectly a couple of days later. All on the same power supply and all, no discernible pattern whatsoever. I keep it for home use for that reason, but it's too tasty a delay to give up.smallsnd/bigsnd wrote:i talked to evan about this and explained that there were a few folks who had similar issues. power cycling would generally fix it. very difficult to diagnose for sure, which is why i've been very slow with the rework of the circuit and want it to be rock solid before it comes out again. like i've said, i'll swap out anyones older one for a newer one if they're having the same issue. it's still perplexing to me as i had a version running for like a month on different power supplies, etc. without any issues whatsoever...goroth wrote:My no memory did all sorts of shit like this.

I'll swap mine out once you finalize the new design, my man.

Mine did crazy shit all the time. Which I guess could be cool, but not what I wanted/what I thought it was supposed to do.
AB'd it with Kent's, which seemed to be working more as intended. No biggie though, as it is a fairly easy pedal to pass on around these parts.

Re: Having a frustrating time with pedals lately
The mod part on mine still affects the delay-only part when bypassed (which is why I keep those knobs dialed all the way CCW). It's not as extreme as Eivind's, but I would like one that works as intended so that I can use the mod part without having to bend down and turn knobs (twss) mid song. I've also experienced getting no wet signal at all a few times. Sign me up, BriBri!

Shit happens. We still love you in a very, very sexual manner Brian. Don't take that the wrong way now. hahahahaha

It's definitely one of the best delays I've played. Would love to see it eventually in a new incarnation that still maintained the character of the old version without the ... quirks.
