800 bones seems stupid cheap for a Kendrick 2410...basically a handwired '59 Bassman with reverb. Most of the listing service on Reverb are north of $1500

My main amp is a tweed Deluxe clone I built a few years ago. I love that little bastard. I tend to run mine right around that sweet spot at 2 or 3 on the volume knob where it just starts to bark when you dig in...which is still too loud for most of the gigs I play. Love it with Tonebender fuzz variants, too.

I put a down payment on the Victoria today. Now I've got 60 days to sell a bunch of shit I don't use or just bust my ass on some new jobs :whateva:

I've been fucking with the idea of a 100w Tweed head to replace my (gasp) SS Fender clean channel only heads.

100W??? That would be MASSIVELY loud... but could be fun, of course :D

(edit: I didn't even realize people/companies produced tweed circuits with that much power)

Would a 100w tweed circuit get dirty before it got stupid loud? Or with that much power would it be more like a blackface?

Yeah, I wouldn't imagine that would get too dirty, would probably be just crazy blunt force trauma loud.
