Anyone fuck with a Keeley Nova Wah?

Fulltone gt500 has a wah inductor as it's mid control I think. They are cheap and smaller than I thought.

They have something called wahfull now too. I've only had a choral flange from fulltone and I wasn't impressed. Agata from melt banana uses a gt500 though, so what do I know?

So I accidentally won an auction for one of these last night. Accidentally because my drunk fate-tempting ass made the absolute minimum bid on one of these at around $110 about a week ago, telling myself "well, someone always swoops in at the last minute to snipe when I think I'm getting a great deal on something..." Well guess what guys? There are no snipers for a Keeley Nova Wah! Anyway, I get to try out this pedal I've been thinking about and my Paypal Credit balance gets a kick in the teeth.

This may have contributed to the lack of other bidders: “The Keeley logo was professionally removed since I had a no logo pedalboard amp guitar setup when I used this.” Anyone ever heard of doing this, or is it just this one dude's particular thing?

I played one briefly when I was staying with ilf: D-Day out in Seattle last year. Since I'm more interested in using it for bass I remember having the two separate filters being a little redundant because the higher settings were a bit think for my taste, but it dis sound pretty thick and "QOTSA" esque in the right spot.

EDIT: Won it. I've been wanting a fixed wah for like a year now.... why does it take me so long to do things?

I haven't had a shit-ton of time to mess around with mine, but have been enjoying it when I do. One interesting thing to me was that I usually keep my wahs after my dirt section, but in this case I wasn't getting usable tones until I moved it in front of my dirt. I can't remember at the moment whether it was too sharp or too muted for me in that position though.

Yeah this is definitely a pedal I want to pump into dirt rather than the other way around, so that's good to know. I thought I was gonna snag it for $90 but I think the seller put in a bid at $97 just to drive mine up a bit whatevs, still a good deal.

Also im totally stealing the knobs off this for my bass. I think MXR knobs might look better on the pedal, too.
