Something like Iron Ether Oxide -> LAL Gomorrah -> Behringer DC-2 Clone -> Behringer VD400.

The LAL and Behringer usually get used with synth stuff.

Having slight hoarder tendencies helps with this challenge

Here's the current shelf, so that could be:
Mole --> Tube Screamer --> Scrambled Brainz --> Juggernaut --> Sunn Buzz clone --> KillKillFilter --> OxFuzzBass --> Ionostrofear Fuzz --> Decomposer --> Sound Saw clone --> Bass Chorus ?

I love the Sidejack. The P-90s rule. I had been playing a 1979 univox hi-flier bass that I modded into a bariton-ish (baritonic?) thing for years so I was accustomed to the tuning (B-B). I usually switch back and forth from bass to guitar in whatever band I'm in so with the bari, I have found my voice. More more more.

Something like:

I've got a green-ish sidejack baritone too. So famn ugly it's cool. It was cheap, I was drunk, randomlu browsing ebay...One thing lead to another :idk:

Feels akeward as fuck, never found the patience to really get used to the size and feel. And it doesn't seem to like chords :idk:
Also, don't know if it's the pu's, or jiust inherent to the baritone thing, but I can't get it to sound tight/focused, it's actually really muddy sounding imo :idk:

I'm reluctant to do a pricey pickup swap on a guitar this cheap, especially cause I have no idee if it'll be much improvement over the meh tone I get out of it now :idk:

You are in Europe right? If you ever need anyone to take it off your hands I might be of service

I've got some answers! Again I'm a short-scale bass player so was fine with the string spacing, but the strap knob on the top horn made the whole thing top heavy, so I moved it to the heel of the neck and now the git sits just as I like it. YMMV. I will say, get it right the first time, because these are soft wood and changing your mind will leave you with stripped holes and nowhere to hang your strap.

Regarding chords, it comes strung with too-thin bari strings. 12-62. I swapped them out for the heavier D'addario XL 14-68 and I love how it chords. It really fixed everything all the way up the neck.

Muddy pickups? Yup. But I love it. It fuzzes SO GOOD.
