Baritone Jazzmaster v2

Post by skullservant »

Offshoot of my Semi-hollow Jazzmaster body thread. Reusing my heavy as fuck current Jazzmaster body to make a Baritone Jazzmaster.

Going to load it with humbuckers, no rhythm circuit, black single ply pickguard, maple (or roasted maple) Warmoth neck, stainless frets. Hardtail plate.

These two threads are exactly what I need. Where do you source those hardtail plates?

Was going to put this on the backburner, but I was able to snag a Baritone Jazzmaster neck for cheap over the weekend, and I'm reusing the gold pickguard that was originally on the body. So now I just need bridge and pickups, it seems. Trying to keep an eye out for some stacked jazzmaster pickups. We will see. If worse comes to worse I'll just get a Warmoth double humbucker pickguard made up

Why wouldn't regular jazzmaster pickups do? I realize most baritones have humbuckers, I just don't know what the reason is for that

Skulls, you have a certain eBay store you like to get necks from, correct? Do you mind reminding what the store was? I tried to dig around and couldn't find it. I need to find a neck for my telemaster build.

Necks not so much. Bodies I usually have done alpine_oregon on Ebay. I really dig Warmoth necks for the most part though

Here's the body with the neck. Really just need pots, pickups, and a pickguard.
