What effects are these?

Post by frigid midget »

This clips a bit rough and sounds kinda messy I guess, but the guitar's more upfront than in the somewhat overly compressed slick studio version imo...

Flanger, and than after the intro bit also a delay on a slapback-ish setting? :idk:
Any of you geeks know more about that dude's board? I don't hear much that boss/mxr/ehx stuff can't pull off, but I'm still kinda curious :snax:

White Lung is an ok band. Rolling Stone voted them as having one of the 20 greatest "punk" albums of all time which is kinda funny (and wrong). But who reads that garbage anyway? It was just to get people to click haha.

Sounda like a flanger to pitch shifter (boss style) to me. Maybe blended? Could maybe be a rainbow machine though?

That chirpy pitch shifting thing sounds like the something you might be able to get from a regular Boss flanger, no? And it sounds like the short delay kicks in in the verse, so that kinda rules out the rainbow machine, right? :idk:

The dude uses a Behringer FCB1010 controller (see here), and another smaller board with some white & blue Boss pedals (right here).

Thanks!

Dispite the controller being Behringer, the dude seems to be more of a gear hound than I thought. That first green pedal looks like it might be an EQD Organiser, but it looks a bit..greener :idk:

Interesting amps choices as well. I spot JC120, and Mesa Lonestar if I'm not mistakin'. Not sure what the silverface fender is in that other link. They might all be rentals I suppose.

Those pedals don't look like Boss to me, anyone else care to make a wild guess?

Holy crap, those pedals look grossly distorted at the edge of the frame there. :whoa:

(Sorry, that's all I got for you.)

I'd assume rack and outboard gear somewhere off-frame, since there's nothing that appears to need a MIDI controller on that board.
