What is wrong with those people?!?
And why can't we kick them out of our simulated universe?!?
It's 2016. Why the fuck are people still paying 87-105% of retail for used merchandise. It's not 2012 anymore, where everything is on backorder. There are people on Reverb asking $330 for pedals in used condition. Why the fuck am I going to pay Tim from Florida $30 over retail for a pedal that comes without warranty, when I can get it for $299 + buyer protection?

All the pew boys are already balking at the $260-ish price point
There's no way the CE-2W is going to be $260. Surely that's got to be the suggested price and not the sale price.
The DM-2W carries a $293 MSRP, with a $149 street value. The VB-2W has a list of $299, but an actual asking price of $199.
One thing I've found confusing about the Boss DM-2W is that it's for sale in Canada for $149 Canadian.
In cases like this it usually would sell for the US equivalent, which would be ~$190 Canadian.
(after checking online it seems to be going for $189, I guess it was just a local shop selling it for $149 CA)
US $199 is about $254 Canadian, but the VB-2W is selling everywhere in Canada for $299 Canadian.

A few new things were unveiled at Gear Fest last week, including limited edition Arturias (reminds me of the red SH-101s that Roland commissioned).
I feel like Arturia is sorta tryna make the microbrute the modern 101 in some ways. The ubiquity and limited edition colors at least.

There is nothing i detest more than these people. Like, you'd think the fact that you can get a Blofeld for $350 new from juno.co.uk would drive down the used prices, but people still try to get $425 for a used Blofeld. What the fuck.

That is odd, but it could also be because the VB-2W is new to the marketplace. Sometimes it takes a couples of months for a lower street price to be established. If you're ever looking for a specific item, shoot me a PM and I'll try to hook you up with a discount code from a seller who does cheap international shipping. I have acquired a lot of codes, which are only shared with previous customers. Many of these codes also work on brands, that are generally excluded from offers available to the general public.

prymaxe has the CE-2w up for $199 USD pre-order so i'm guessing that's the street price, like the VB-2w. seems fair enough?
boss prices are all over the place. they're one of if not the only brand i can buy cheaper in australia as opposed to ordering from the US. local dealers here have the DM-2w at 170 AUD which is under 130 USD.
i think it depends on the actual dealer and whether there's a distributor being omitted somewhere along the line, because the prices can vary a ton from place to place.

Thanks for the offer. That's very cool of you. I'm working on a project right now that's proving difficult. It was supposed to yield pedal money.
But... time will tell if ever-accruing bills will change those plans.

You're right about Boss prices. Very strange. It probably has to do with distribution channels and deals for those channels.

Now this is ubiquity (or at least multiplicity, with the ability to disband and become ubiquitous ).

Shh. Don't tell everyone about Juno. That's my secret place for scoring Euro synths.
