I think Soundcloud plays from the list of people that I follow, so yeah, it should be a bunch of artists I dig!

Wow, this thing sounds great. A dual-direction ramping switch is genius. I was really impressed with the X-series Multi Chorus, really excited to see multi-voiced flanging too. Stereo I/O means this thing is going to be a reamping funbox for me.

Why you gotta take all my dollars in 2016, Digitech

Multi-voice flanging isn't easy folks, especially in stereo. I don't think we'll be seeing a bunch of people doing multi-voice flanging with Spin FV-1's anytime soon.

Quadruple flanger sounds fantastic, but needs more purple.

While it's true that blue + red = purple, I don't see any purple on that pedal. :idk:

Yeah I can't even begin to imagine how you dealt with the undesirable kind of phase cancellation across the voices. I'd love to hear whatever doesn't violate Trade Secrets about it. What is each voice doing; are the LFOs divisible by Hz?

We started out by using the Fibonacci Series for the starting pre-delay settings for each of the voices, we also used it for the starting depths of each voice. As the main depth is increased we do a bunch of multi-function depth ramping/level/phase inversions at certain points to avoid any serious nulls and to accentuate the more musical cancellation. There is however, cancellation at many, many, points but with work we made what I think it are good-sounding and musically useful cancellations.

That's outstanding. It must have been challenging to get to those sweet spots on account of it's an effect that is essentially defined by phase cancellation. Looking forward to trying one.

I'd like to pretend that we did a bunch of math to make sure that there are no nulls happening at the same time, but it was purely messing-around. ;)

I always preferred trial and error to math. You usually get it right eventually!

four times the flanger should generally equal four times the purple, no?

Wow, this looks exciting!

Can only agree with Chanks, that it is strange not being coloured the internationally accepted colour of flanging, but still, very cool.

Glad I've held off for no reason on picking a Flanger back up.

I also think the art for this is pretty cool as well.

Maybe there should be a special purple edition?
