I've always thought that the brief, fuzzed out riff at the beginning of this song sounds so fucking tuff, then it of course goes into Alvin & the Chipmunks...

I wonder what kind of pickups Les Paul is using here, they don't really look like P90s?

Nice call on the Grady Martin stuff. FYI, it was a Danelectro, the six-string bass you're talking about. Seafoam green...
