My Nelson is tuned to D or C and is never played clean ever. Just brootz. Previous grind band I was in the guitarist recorded with a silver sparkle De Armond with gold foils. Cult of Luna dude has always jammed a 52 blonde telecaster. In my experience any guitar that feels nice can be made to sound nice/brooootal/whatever.
This thread is for me all about the visual backflip when you see someone playing against what you expect to see.
