damn the specs for the 15 watter and price are getting me HARD
$226 but shipping? might suck

15 watt and a 1 watt mode!
the external cab option.
same tubes as my main amp, and a butt-load of options, plus it's in stock.
should I just go for it?
like having bass mids and treble instead of just a tone knob too.
this could easily be a main amp, just a lower power and lighter one.
but I might paint it black...
:hello:

If it's just a rebranded Laney Cub 12, I can say it's a great little amp! If it is like the laney, though, when you plug in the external speaker jack it disables the internal speaker. Also, the one watt mode was very tonally different from the fifteen watt mode. I don't remember how now, but I remember leaving it in the fifteen watt mode the whole time I had it for that reason.

ok cool, that's what I want too. the stuff I play I don't usually like to rattle the tubes too much.
also hear to remount the reverb or switch it out too.

and advice for the 15 vs the 5?
despite the options and power?

I say go for the 15w, why not? Their return policy is decent. i personally have no experience with their amps, I'd just assume you'll wanna change the tubes as soon as you can afford to? Seems to be common. If you don't mind waiting a bit I bulk buy cables from them so I get $20 off 100 and/or 25% off coupons in my email every couple of weeks and I can pass it on to you if you want.

cool
totally signed up and will get it with the next sale
just not playing because of my setup and where I'm at now, still... need to move bad.
but looks to be a decent backup amp too.

There are a bunch of reviews on Amazon for this amp:

I've been thinking about building a new enclosure for a 12" speaker and the amplifier of the HT-1. I really like the amp, but I'd like a bit more from the speaker.
