LFO Pedals

Post by duffmcshark »

I'm looking for pedals similar to the Source Audio Reflex and the Copilot fx Broadcast, which can plug into an expression pedal input and have a huge range of LFO shapes to choose from. Seems like a basic enough type of pedal but I can't find anything besides those two.

That's an lfo and a great choice.

Koma, moogerfooger, moog cp-251 (351?), Etc all are options.

Get creative with them. Passive ring mod two together to get different shapes. A CV mixer could be useful too. Or get a tiny modular setup and have unlimited options.

There is always the ldr/CD player spinning disc one for like an exp input too.

Adam at copilot is the fucking best.

I have an 8 channel broadcast coming with a 8 step sequencer for the tap tempo ratio (amongst other cool things). For a doofus like me who is unreasonably afraid of midi and stuff, this is going to give me about as much control over my pedals as is possible without going full on midi/computer.

I have an 8 Step and never thought of how I can basically draw any waveform on it and use the glissando and direction knobs to fine tune it.

8 Step is the bees fucking knees. Definitely my favorite for creating strange waveforms in the pedal realm.

Twin Stags just has triangle/ramp/saw shapes, but the upcoming Happiness has the same triangle core with a sort of sample and hold option, too. Expression jacks on both!
