the CRONE is pretty cool. big & clear like the description says. i'm still tweaking it to get the string to string balance optimal. it's definitely more aggressive sounding than the pickup i had in there previously (Dimarzio EJ Custom), but more even across the freq spectrum (the EJ had a weird notch in the mids that i couldn't hang with).

Still happy with those LITS? I've got a Jazzmaster that's nearing completion and I was gonna go with regular pickups but these are calling to me.

This is relevant to my interests. I wanna get a CP jazzy and black that mofo out and get some gnarly looking LITS to put in it.

If I ever do get a Telecaster I'm gonna drop a BKS and Fury into it and just go hard.

BKS is fucking awesome. I wired mine up straight to the jack and it killed it.

I miss my baritone.

i ended up pulling out the BLK TRI CRONE & going back to the Vintage Vibe HB sized blade SC that i've already had installed in my baritone three or four times now. The 60 cycle hum bothers me, but there's something about the single coil twang/clang that works in that guitar (and in my band). the CRONE rules, though. now i feel like i have to find the right guitar for it! :D

Put it in a single pickup guitar. Something offset and fast and sexy.

Or in a hollowbody or something

It did sound awesome in my Les Paul though.

I'm debating between a satellite or a fury for the neck pickup in my telemaster. Anyone with experience? I'm also considering getting both and putting one in the neck of my sg, then swapping them around if I guessed wrong.

Please do let me know how either works out. I plan on putting both in a Telecaster but which one goes where is what I'm on right now. I'm thinking Fury in the neck because that's what my heart is telling me.

I will say that the BKS is a little scooped and the Fury is supposed to be a little more even across the spectrum so whichever one of those things you want

Same. Heart is telling me fury is what I want because mids, but I'm never certain and have limited experience with pickups

If I had waited one more month the Fury would have come out and I would have picked it over the BKS. If I ever get another guitar with single coils that size I'll definitely get the Fury.

I wonder if it's better though to run Fury in the neck and BKS in the bridge instead of going dual Fury.
