If factoring in the public behavior of the musicians matters to you I'm sure you'll dig Whirr.

Is 2008 current? I haven't liked anything else they've done.

sort of... at least that's after the 90s.
would really like to find some bands that're literally currently active though.

I dig the cherry wave. Guitar player was on here for a long time. Haven't seen him in a while though. I'm pretty sure they have a new album coming out soon because I saw a new single floating around somewhere in the last few weeks.

Haha I immediately thought of Whirr and loled, imagining that they'd likely been (deservedly) eviscerated on ILF. I found that whole incident particularly comical in a way, seeing that G.L.O.S.S. are such a far superior band. Whirr seem like twats of the highest order.

Nothing and Title Fight fall into that same sort of hardcore-turned-shoegaze shit, no? I've liked some of what I've heard from both of those bands, but wasn't bowled over.

I liked bits of the Wolf Alice record. Pains of Being Pure at Heart also had a bit of a gaze phase that was enjoyable for a minute there. In the realm of oldies in a new capacity, the new Lush EP is good. Alright, I'm going to bed.

Edit speaking of bed, I really liked the first DIIV record but the new one's a snoooooooze...
