Have we talked about stereo/ ping-pong delays recently?

Stereo Delay - not where one output is effect and the other is the dry signal and maybe even
offers the option of a ping-pong effect.

My line6 M5 has a ping pong setting. I've never run it through a proper stereo rig, but theoretically it sounds awesome

Echo Park is the only one I know of offhand. I haven't done much deep-diving with the DD500, but I would be shocked if it couldn't be worked out somehow.

Tis the only way to delay.

I split my signal to stereo using a Gig-FX Chopper -> Echolution 2 Deluxe. The stereo multi-tap delay with the golden ratio stacked on an other subdivision split between my two amps is just fucking the best ever. :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

Pretty much all of the digital delays with stereo out will do it.

DD-20 (Pan mode), Timebender (any with multihead), old rack stuff, etc.

King for me is still the venerable Quadraverb+ - can set the individual feedback/panning of *each* of the taps, plus level, etc.

I keep going back to that thing no matter what else is out there.

SMMH in multitap mode is silly fun.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Pingpong delay gets really old really fast, though.

Gotta set it right and use it appropriately.

It's like slamming on ultrawide chorus or oscillating fuzz on every song fullbore.

Not to beat on the same horse I jump on every time I talk delays, but the source audio nemesis is some good shit in this regard. The stereo i/o can be set as stereo, dry-wet, ping pong or even an fx loop (!!!).

Yea man, that's sounding right to me.

I have a Boss DD-7 at my disposal and I also have an Arion SAD-1 which doesn't ping-pong but it does offer
the option of delay/ direct output and stereo output which basically runs the delay signal through both outs.
I do space-y droney keyboard stuff and this pedal is used constantly. I'm always looking for other options and opinions.

Any of these capable of self-oscillating at slower delay times? (I guess ones with that specific feature will, duh)

The vintage rack stuff won't self-oscillate generally - I'm sure there's one out there that does but they weren't built to.
