Finished up the Harmonic Percolator tonight. Very happy with the results. Scored some NOS Sylvania 1n60's, still in the freaking packaging. Insane.
This one actually oscillates and makes weird noises. I'm glad. I've built a few and never had any that actually got somewhere close to Albini.

I recorded some clips last night but they were just quick for Instagram. I can do a regular demo with my phone probably tomorrow

Spent too much time building this tonight, instead of recording clips. It's a Cranker of Speakers.

They are haha. I really hate working with steel in general. All the scraps after drilling that still need to be sanded down and whatnot

Built this Electra-based overdrive last night to crank my speakers as well. THIS is the one I've been waiting for!!
Man, it sounds great.
I'm going to try building one with LEDs for clippers - kind of excited to try - I should've just socketed this one, but I was too impatient

My most recent builds:

Ramshead Muff clone. Made this for one of the guitarists in my band. The cool pattern in the metal was there when I sanded it back :thumb:

A clean and simple 1776 Rub A Dub Deluxe Reverb with the an external volume knob instead of the internal trimpot. This thing is great!

This means I'll be hopefully doing more etching again, since I'm back in town (Aen if you read this, that means yours buddy!). Anyway, I hate Trump but my cousin digs the shit out of him. Whatever. It's for him, not me. So I don't care. Anyway, I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I think I need to let the paint dry a little longer before sanding though. I haven't quite perfected things yet, but I'm getting better at it. I think this has kind of a vintage look to it.

Rat clone with a few tweaks. Was initially going to be white, but i stuffed up the paint job. Let it dry and went to sand it back, and ended up liking it half sanded.
