There's a battery under the stomp switch in SDDs and CCs, snugged against the bottom of the stomp switch and the box. Neither lasts very long on a battery though, they're both current hogs and need 75ish mA each.
couldn't wait for your email... i was too curious to know so i could get excited about wanting bottom of the box stomps
