I can hear in this video a difference between these two pedals. the suhr is a tiny bit brighter and lets more transients through. it has a more defined attack that makes really good detailed recordings. other people on youtube mostly say they can not hear a difference but I do. what do you think?

Re: joyo vs suhr riot
When I have a preference between them (close enough that I'd need to hear them into a board or a clean amp I knew), I prefer the Joyo. Difference is minimal with good Senn cans.

I prefer the Joyo as well. Though a difference THAT subtle is the first thing to dissapear in a mix, whether it's in a studio or a live situation
I know I shouldn't support these chinese clone pedals and the shady business ethics behind em, but I'll admit that that kind of price difference is hard to resist

Re: joyo vs suhr riot
I totally support joyo because they sometimes have something I want and I don't think there are any ethics left in american capitalism either so there really is no moral aspect to it in my opinion. this is probably the only joyo pedal that I think the non-clone sounds better. what is it about the joyo that you prefer besides the price? they say the bass is a bit less on the joyo but I can't tell from the demo. does it sound warmer and more vintage speaker on the joyo? I think that might be why some like the clone.

Re: joyo vs suhr riot
I can't gauge the pedal alone - the amp isn't one I know the sound of, and the sample is very very short, and no indicator if it's clean or dirty or....I hear both in that, so don't have a feel for the pedal vs. amp dynamic.
The thing I like is the frst Joyo - it's brighter, more present, just has more of what I look for in a high gain pedal.
Rest of the stuff is too close to call, so I have to say I prefer the Joyo when I have no religious preference on the other samples.
