Re: Recommend me pedals - new home pedalboard
cheapish suggestions for OD and phaser, DOD250 and 201. Both now discontinued, but stores are getting rid of them for cheaps. i just got a 250 and i LOVE it. still in the honeymoon phase, but i'm really into it. I have a DOD201 on the way, as well. I had a Whetstone and a Sibling for a while and i really enjoyed the sound of 2 stage phase, its more subtle.

For phase, that Mr. Black Gilamondo sounds pretty sweet, and I like the cocked phase feature. Been jonesing for one of those since I saw it on Neil Halstead's board last week.

I wish the El Cap had more presets. Or MIDI. I could do so much with presets. You can do a super hi-fi digital glitch delay, hi fi looper, degrading looper, and all kinds of clean to broken sounds in between.
El Cap into SS/BS Fuck is broken heaven.

Hey not to derail thread but Jonny tell us about your Anomalies experience? Was really interested from the Knobs teaser but then found the Fuzzrocious demos lost the plot a bit or something..What other delays do you use/like?
Back on topic...
OD: Haymaker
Distortion: Rat or Rattail if you don't have! if not Supercollider
Phaser: I just bought the SolidGold Apollo from Mr. Knobs himself after playing with one at Main Drag, it is so delicious. Can dialed super subtly or do nutso sounds. The wave forms are
And plays shocking well with dirt.
Reverb: I love my Neunaber WET so much, I think it's sort of perfect. But I just bought an RM-1N, and it is very righteous. Also pretty into Mr. Black Supermoon for dat modulation.
Delay: Based on your style, maybe it's about something dark with shorter repeats, bucket brigade and oscillation ability. Bandmate has a Keeley modified Ibanez AD9 that can do swells and is very awesome. Kilobyte is probably a good one here. Maybe even the new Tomkat? VFE Mobius could be cool.
Last Spot: Clean boost or EQ is really useful if you're playing rhythmic heavy rock. I'm kind of looking for suggestions on this myself right now.

Let's play the game:
OD: mini or fuck or Hungry robot LG (tha are the pedals I want)
Distorsion: mini (because I find it better as distortion/fuzz)
Phaser: new dod reissue or small stone nano
Delay: don't follow if you needed tap tempo, analog? Budget?
Reverb: météore
Extra: bitquest (it does so much and can be a fuzz too)

Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

DOD 250
SSBS Mini
Dr. S Reverberator
Malekko Ekko 616 Dark or Minifooger
This fucking phaser because it is already in Oz: https://reverb.com/item/2185261
Extra spot? I wanna say get a BF-2 but sounds like a BitQuest might be your winner...

El Cap on a medium delay with max reverb into a fuck is my favorite sound for ambient stuffneonblack wrote:I wish the El Cap had more presets. Or MIDI. I could do so much with presets. I'm not really a delay expert. Ive owned a DD5, dispatch master, and danelectro reel echo.
It's fucking awesome. It's a little un predictable and almost quirky. All other delays I've had are basically loopers with a really short loop time. Anomalies is literally your Delay signal and sometimes there are anomalies. The momentary foot switch is a ct5 killer for me. It's not as weird as a ct5, but the ct5 is almost too much for me.

Re: Recommend me pedals - new home pedalboard
Ok ok...thanks for all the recommendations.
Ive been a little stupid...when i think about my spare pedals, I actually have a few parts sorted...and once i get my dunwich pedal, a couple of pedals from my main board become available.
So...here's what i have:
OD: Bat black Forrest or Pharaoh set to low gain
Distortion/fuzz: Mini or Quantum mystic or Ritual
Chorus: CE3
Delay: Dirge multiplex
So the gap is really a phaser and reverb.
What it also means is that my budget opens up a little too. which is great because i love reverb and would be cool with spending a bit extra on that, even 2 would be good for stacking!

Get an RV3. Then spend more another verb.
I've wanted a Faye Sings for the longest time, so I'd gun for one of them. But anything with more than 4 stages is probably gonna suit what you like better.
You got the budget for a Moog?
Also tell me what you think about the Mini and the BF working together.
WWPD?
