Also another question - those 4ms "pingable" modules - do you have to have a separate master clock module to use them?

Have you tried the STO ? I've got one and it's a really cool oscillator but I'd prefer having two different oscillators... Unless you're going for a very specific duophonic setup but I'm pretty sure that's not the case from the rest of the modules.

Also, a system like this would benefit from having a final audio mixer at the end of the chain. Well, not just there, you lack mixing (you can do a bit with the Maths but that's it).
And the 4HP Brains module is usually a great addition to the Pressure Points.

You could replace the PEG by something smaller and add a small mixer or two and a Brain, for example... Whatever you do, buy modules slowly, test them and see what works and what doesn't and what you really need at each step...

haven't tried the STO but i've seen people using them that have been inspirations to me for my modular, so that's basically what i'm going on for that decision. and watching demos. i actually have been thinking that i want to get a dixie ii though instead of the STO.

i will try to throw a mixer in there! i changed things up a bit. i like the sine from hikari for it's size and simplicity... i also love sine waves above all others and will be using those most. also added links and a unity mixer - do you think kinks would be a better choice?

I actually have an STO and a Dixie, both are really nice. The STO has more options (waweshaper, sub-oscillator, etc.) and the Dixie has a great sinewave (cleaner than the STO I think) and tons of outputs. They're pretty complementary, having one of each would be better than two of the same in my opinion.

And at least one mixer with a proper knob per channel would be super useful, the unity mixer is nice but lacks volume (for audio) control. Something like the Manhattan Analog Mix or CP3 would be a simple but very useful addition, for example.

And having both Links and Unity Mixer is a bit redundant in a system that size, Kinks would indeed get your more useful functionalities.
