Oarfish: custom pedal by Black Arts Toneworks

Post by oarfish »

Okay, this post is kind of just me waving my dick around about my new custom but GOD DAMN LOOK AT THIS THING! :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

Image

The Oarfish is a two-for-one-and-then-some. A Quantum Mystic combined with a Badascan (which is a LSTR circuit with Pharaoh tone controls, LED and Silicon clipping) in one box. There are some additional tweaks for tone and flexibility in the Badascan, including some transistor tweaking for more bass, a footswitch to bypass the "High" part of the tone stack and variable input gain.

It sounds just the way I want and will be the sound of Oarfish and my other bands for years and years to come.

Here's a video of me playing some half-assed riffs and tweaking the pedal for a solid 9 minutes:

Listen to Oarfish, it's heavy.
