If it makes anybody feel better, I admit to liking the following 90s coffee house sweaterrock anthems:

The greatest part is i didn't even have to search for any of these. They all popped up in the sidebar of the first video.
Also this one isn't really related but still pretty embarrassing that i like it

Space, I'm gonna add these to your (impecably curated) list.

The last one was super confusing because, for the life of me, I thought he was saying "I cannot believe we'd ever doubt forty cents."

I mean... I think the general statement "Creed is not that bad you know" is an ignorant and dangerous one.
But "Higher" is a pretty okay song, mainly because of Tremonti's playing.

The very worst thing I can ever say about creed is I met people in collage IN SEATTLE that thought they were grunge and didn't know who TAD or the Melvins or Mudhoney ETC were.. other than that I am sure they were offensive but for the most part unless I am subjected to a song via radio [didn't work a blue collar job when they were big] or something I tend to ignore things that are not interesting to me
I found Creed boring in a sounds like Candle Box kind'a way… not that I hate Candle Box really but when you heard all the good grunge bands first it is hard to be very phased one way or the other by 2nd and 3rd wave grunge..

Personally I think post-grunge is the biggest wasteland popular music has to offer.
Theory of a NickelCreed, if you will.

The overlapping, homogenous Bling-bling-rap & manufactured boy band pop eras of the late 90s early 00s. WOAT.
