What with ilf's hate on those sounds? I'm allowed to like pretty sounds every once in a while, if anything it makes my fuzz all the more punishing.

...altough I can understand the dislike for tgp. I absolutely hate tgp's attitude. I'd probably be banned there within a day.

The Wet is a beautiful reverb, so simple to control to create a massive pad. I haven't had one since the pedal customizer became so full of possibilities. The hold mode seems like a nice lush alternative to the static EHX Freeze. Could be a lot of fun for drones.

I'm a recovered TGPer. After GuitarGeek became a ghost town I was just a pedal junkie looking for a new home. I should have come here and to the PRF instead. But I got suckered into the borg mentality on the TGP, but not further than jumping onto the Strymon bandwagon and eventually ended up with a loaded but tidy Pedaltrain 2 with two PP2s underneath. Not just the praisegaze crowd but the moderators and their banana riders can suck it too. Ive considered getting myself banned numerous times, just to burn the fucking bridge.

Samez. Thank god I found this bunch of grumps—might've opened a vein if I spent too much time listening to guys talk about their Timmys' tone stacks.

I've only played a Wet once, and found it to be insanely beautiful and deep... almost too much so. Granted I'd love to see how fucked up I could get it to sound if I mixed it into my chain, but until then it's kind of a "too purdy for me" pedal. I like my reverb with a bum leg, maybe a couple of homemade tattoos.

No wonder it's so popular with the P&W crowd. The thing's... ascendant.

It's not marketed toward Worship/TPG, that's just the crowd that raves about it.

I mean....

Don't get me wrong. I don't think I will ever part with my mono WET. I want a mr. black supermoon to run along side it but the thing is basically flawless.

i recently switched to a slate with exp from the strymon big boxes and i'm so much happier with it. every neunaber algorithm i've ever tried has been exactly what i want to hear. everything just sits so dang well. i'd recommend the exp pedal to anyone too. 4 different pedals at your disposal at all times with the ability to load plenty more in there. neunaber also frequently cranks out new algo's too.

I"M ALL ABOUT IT

Has anyone made much use of the echo algorithm? Curious as I am operating with only 1 delay and that would certainly sweeten the pot for investing in a slate.

i do! i think the echelon sounds so awesome. it does have a pretty distinct ping pongy sound that gets washy at higher repeat levels. never gets in the way.
