But I like seeing the different genres you guys use, because synthpop is a weird one. It's sort of a catch-all for "pop music that uses synths", but would only get used for stuff that you wouldn't use specific subgenres for. Like I'd call Ladytron electropop. If they sound like New Order, new wave.

I really can't imagine another band that I love / love to make fun of more than Oasis. Of course there are tons of band I like better overall, but in terms of that magical level of mockability, give zero fucks attitude (despite being a complete moron, as is usually the case with Liam), and just fun rock n' roll, I dunno... they're an island.
No synth though. And I will say that Liam has made some horrible fashion decisions over the years, but when he nails it, man...

The genre names for electronic music are so fractured and awful. I was listening to lolicore today, and explained it as an offshoot of happy hardcore and gabber and breakcore. And then i realized i hated myself for what i was saying. People use the term "synthwave" these days. Kill me.
