Hah Space your using me in your sig!! Hahahaha
I still love both. There definitely was shitty bands at the 99, but I looked at the full line up and got hard. I would have murdered to see some of those bands in 99.

What Spacy and Dirge said also there are things you don't under stand such as a large part of metal has more to do with the same thing that the original "hippy" bands [look up just how many anti war metal songs there actually are. even Slayer has some] were about than 90's corporate-indie-rock also this is metal as fuckjwar wrote:Woodstock has never been about metal. LOL. It's about fucking hippies. Hippies don't listen to metal. I mean obviously there were bands that probably shouldn't have been there, but for the most part I think 99 would have been amazing.

Yeah, like, "War Pigs" was the ultimate Vietnam protest song. And retains its anti-war vitality today.

As I approach 30, I have no political alignment. As Weezer sang, "Every time I pin down what I want the ghost slips away." They were singing about girls not ideologies but I think it's the same thing really.
I was actually a teenage communist, the the record.
