Tbh I don't know if it really matters with any type of gain demos. Only reason I check YouTube demos for fuzzes is to check the features, range of th knobs, some talking but in the end I feel like I have to try it to know what it sounds like. I tend to like pedals that are used to cover songs I like, which is all thanks to my dumb brain

But sure, pick vs. hands makes a bit more of a difference :)*

that's pretty cool. doesn't have as many tuning options as the whammy though, nor ricochet.
interesting that they popped the space station's synth in there too though. not the whole thing, but still amusing.

He's shit for a lot of distortions/fuzzes because he plays with his fingers though. I wish he did both so we could hear the difference. :idk:
There is some sort of irony that probably the longest running/highest viewed guitar/gear demo channel person doesn't even use a pick, but oh well (so much for those $50 abalone pick demos we'll never see).

Ben from PWR BTTM is pretty good, though.

If anything I hate Andy for his skills. Motherfucker is talented. I watch their videos for a breakdown of the functionality, but you're never going to get anything else out of their videos. No opinions, critiques.

Watch enough, and you'll see it. He (Andy) sometimes makes comments or clearly engages more with the pedals that "speak" to him. Burgs does a good job of emoting his thoughts on pedals, hah.

You can tell when he loves a pedal when he starts grinning like an idiot and jamming out instead of doing covers. However the opposite is not always true. He often times appears like he's really fucking tired/in pain generally. Which only makes the claims about his health a bit more credible, we'll that and the fact that he had to cancel his reddit ask me anything because of them. :idk: He's a staple in he guitar community though.

Truth be told I like justnick a lot more. He's a gearpagey player who also loves the crazy glitchy side of effects, he might talk a lot but oftentimes you find out damn near everything about a pedal after he's through with it.

Justnick does an amazing job. He's sold me on quite a few pedals. I've never been sold on shit based on Andy's demos, but they aren't bad.

Jesus... I had no idea that the guy (Andy) who demos gear has enough of a following that people speculate about his health. I would have never looked that shit up.

I like Justnicks demos as well. informative and I like that he's vocal about the features.

Agreed, on all counts :snax:
There's something comforting about justnick :hobbes: Not sure if it's solely him, or that he reminds me of a friend, or what.
