Xiu Xiu is itself a very silly entity, haha... sometimes I wonder if the whole thing is some ironic joke, or if they're even a little serious about their (to me) corny, ridiculous aesthetic and often-hideous, grating, breathy recitations and wailings of bad poetry. I already have a band for that, and it's called Bright Eyes.

That's not to say I'm H8in' on the fans (there seems to be a shitload of them), but I really can't see myself at any Xiu Xiu-themed parties.
