All good songs! This album may just turn out to be killer. I love how they're balancing keeping it fresh and interesting with still sounding like Deftones.

Am I the only one who's going to say it?
Palms would be pretty good were it not for the horrible sound

I'm wondering if you guys just aren't giving it long enough? When I first heard the Palms album I was heavy into Crosses. It didn't impress. But, I bought it anyway. It became the only record I listened to for two or three weeks straight. Maybe it's ISIS baggage that has you dudes turned off?

I'd really like it if it sounded any better

Palms was somewhat of a letdown for me. Really enjoy two of the tracks though, those being "Future Warrior" and "Mission Sunset", didn't really care for the rest of it.
Really enjoying some of the new Deftones tunes though, Acid Hologram is fuckin dope.

Dude it's so mediocre. I mean, I loved the Deftones older albums, but this is shit. LOL.

The only thing I know about the Deftones is this sticker, which I won out of a gumball machine years ago while angling for some other prize:
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

I liked the new album on first listen but I find myself skipping most of the songs when they come up on shuffle.

I'm kind of not feeling this album. Maybe it's a grower.
