stripes' organelle demo

Post by stripes »

accidentally posted this in the BST

i have never made a pedal demo before but i really wanted to for this guy. it's really long
i have also never spent this much money on a single pedal before... and i think it was worth it.

it's an amazing thing. i switch from guitar to yamaha reface CP keyboard at 7:09

this is mostly mellow (duh) droney stuff. my favorite way to use this pedal. the hold function is use a lot in the video and is definitely my favorite thing about it.
it's a million times easier to use than i expected and is very musical. the analog drive is REALLY NICE. that's all the dirt you hear in the video - and i run my amp CLEAN.

also making appearances: warped vinyl and el capistan :) soundscapes ensue

So I'm guessing it's definitely going to make its way into the new florist record in the future? ;) :snax:

Just like the tasty ct5 bit in... I think it was in Thank You?

Inconuucl: I can shoegaze that tune with 5 pedals.
other contestant: I can shoegaze that tune with 4 pedals.
Inconuucl: I can shoegaze that tune with 3 pedals.
other contestant: OK, shoegaze that tune!

yes i think it will be on the next one  this pedal really is right up my alley. the goodbye 24 is on "thank you"!! but there's quite a bit of CT5 on "remembering spring 2013" off of Holdly https://florist.bandcamp.com/track/reme ... pring-2013

Gee whizz, I had 15 minutes to kill before I left for uni this morning so I lay down, browsed ILF, clicked on this demo and then all of a sudden woke up an 90 mins later. Such beautiful sounds, great job.

I would love more demos too. Or pairings, like the WV and El Cap. I used to rock that one and it's gorgeous.

 thanks! hope u weren't too late

maybe i'll make more vids of pedal sounds. i always do them in my head when i'm first playing around with a pedal... never really felt the calling though. the dream sequence really just inspired me immediately and i wanted to share the sounds i was coming up with. it's funny cuz a lot of the video is just the same setting with subtle changes, and the freeze feature. i figured if u wanna know everything it does there are already demos that tell u that!
