I like that idea. Using vintage/classic boxes in an experimental setting.
Off topic but I'm having a Foxx Tone Machine clone built for me for that exact reason. Old fuzz box, gnarly as hell, but I'm trying not to use it in a wanky shreddy way. Textures and stuff, ya know?
