I like that option.

just a loop (guitar ebow whatever) feeding into the vibrato, and playing around with the knobs. I haven't even done random blending or half the other shapes yet.

such is the nature of delay-line based vibratos. only other vibrato techniques I could do are phase shifting, but that can't go as deep or as slow. and full pitch shifter, meaning fv-1. which I've had bad luck with.
this speaks to exactly why I sold my vessels end, I thought it sounded really cool, but the lag was a deal breaker for me because I like to play tight and rhythmic.

Nice Video :joy:
One small request : when you make a batch of this one, please don't send a first-come-first-served email when it's the middle of the night in Japan :).
Because I would really like one of these...

Isn't it always "in the middle of the night" somewhere?

the clips in the video are purposefully un-subtle. it can do really subtle do, up to nearly indistinguishable.

for the lag, never can fully get rid of it. just a trimpot that lessens it at the expense of some depth. when I'll sell some of these, I'll have to make sure people understand.

I'm half-stuck waiting for a part now, which sucks. I though had some relays (for the bypass) around, but I don't. not the right kind anyway. guess I'll do more software-only features in the meantime.

good idea. I might split a batch up in two, seperated by 12 hours or something, ive both sides of the planet a chance.

Have you thought of anything design-wise? I guess you're probably too busy working on the programming (and everything else in your life), but you know how giddy we get looking at SC pedals  :joy:

I really like the 3:20-3:50 bit, kind of old record player with shitty worn out belt

I have a list of possible designs. like everything though, time, effort and willingness.

Of course. Really like the shitty-record-player sound as well. I still think random wave with medium depth, low mix and a tad of crackle on the Vessel's End is one of the most beautiful things I've heard. I know you had some second thoughts about that crackle knob, but personally, I've used it a lot live. Up till noon for degradation and past noon for wave peak rhythms. If you don't mind me asking; what causes that beat/pop sound when you take the parameter past noon, from a technical standpoint? So lovely and fun to play over. :thumb:
