Bought this yesterday. Fender Baja tele. I tried a Highway 1 tele (which was a rare Butterscotch model, only 25 in the UK), and one of the new American Specials, but I'd been wanting something with a chunkier neck than my Squier CV tele, and those ones weren't much different to that. this also has the 4-way switching I was considering anyway. The pickups themselves aren't as beefy as the Texas Specials in the AS, but I still like their sound. If I want, I can upgrade the pickups to Texas Specials and have it still run to about the same price anyway, for what I paid for this. Plus, I like the colour, mainly because it looks a bit like the one Graham Coxon used to use in Blur in the 90's Lovely, lovely guitar.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

The baja's are great...and now that Fender brought the price back down it's pretty tempting.
I wonder how they stack up next to the american specials...they are in the same price now I think.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

Here is my main guitar for when ever I actually play guitar.
I've had it for like 14 years.
It's a real oddball.
OLD Japanese ply body found in a bin in a AZ music store
Neck [looks 70's Japanese as well], neck pickup [allparts], and tuners came from Subway Guitars in Berkley CA in trade for a Teisco body and neck
Bridge pickup came from a bin in Black Market Music in San Jose.
Bridge I got mail order.

16-70 tuned BEADF#B
Put together for me [this was before I started building my own stuff] by Guitar-O-Rama Oakland CA

Nothing plays like it [like a truck] nothing sounds like it: kind'a like a dano mixed with a gibson  :thumb:

How do you know when it is the "right time" to sell a guitar? I'm not really satisfied with the one I have, i got it about 1.5 years ago, when I was big into shredding, but I play entirely differently now and think I want to sell it and use the money to buy a new one. I'm not sure if i should yet though.

You can do a lot interms of mods and setup changes to a guitar.

I have this guitar here.

As you can see a paf and a filtertron plus 12s = totally unshred! Actually this guitar sounds like a really good strat. Oh yeah... it is #00077 :thumb:

Why would you PAF + Filterton that guitar? WHY?!

Because I like the way they sound in that guitar, why else. Just you wait Some day that paf is coming out for a second Filtertron!
