Great track through. At last years drone day, one of the acts was a guy who had modified two short range radios so that the output of the one would modulate the station of the other and vice versa. It was pretty cool, but he didn't have it mic'd up so it was really quiet and adding some delay would have been amazing
Yeah I just needed a few 1 foot and 3 foot cables for the things that are farther away like my modular, mixer, and the RM-1N. Most of the other stuff that's directly adjacent to it didn't need anything too long. Patching on the tabletop is incredibly convenient though. The Patchulator is really changing my workflow drastically. I had basically stopped trying to integrate pedals into my setup because I really didn't enjoy unplugging and rewiring things all the time. Now I don't have to and it's phenomenalsuperanalog wrote:I recently expanded my desktop setup to use two Patchulators, which is almost making a rackmount patchbay viable again, but patching on the desktop is way more convenient. Most of the gear is directly adjacent to the two patchbays, so using short right-angle cables is all I need. That alone makes slight changes to the setup quick, as opposed to reaching behind a rack.MrNovember wrote:I don't have any recent sounds, I literally just bought patch cables long enough for the Patchulator yesterday, and am expecting a few changes this weekend/next week, but I'll try to record something to share soon.
I'll get some pics and sounds up for you guys asap. Not so much "experimental gear" but with all the mod sources and destinations, it might as well be!
