This is what i always thought that shitty beach house band sounded like until i listened to them. Sounds like being at a house. At the beach. At night. With self loathing. Its perfect.

Haha my friend saw these guys the other night and said that they were one of the worst bands he'd ever seen live. "They pretend to play their instruments."

You know now that you bring up your bad taste i seem to recall another shortcoming in the form of the new prurient. And i know its a stretch to say they are stylistically not dissimilar. However you want to paint it though, they're both really frozen, removed slabs of synthy self loathing. I think maybe you just don't like synth pop.
