Afterneath effect on Boss DD-500

Post by sweatshopmillionaire »

Anyone out there use a DD-500 who has an idea on how to get the Afterneath sound? I haven't gotten super technical with the DD-500 yet, but I'm sure shimmer is one aspect to getting that effect.

Share presets if ya got em.

(Just an FYI, not looking to buy an Afterneath, but love what it does – not enough room as it is. :) )

using the pattern mode and assigning the SDE 3000 can accomplish something very similar. didn't know there was any shimmer in the afterneath, but after checking out a video it's really bright, so you could assign shimmer before the sde 3000 so it gets smeared out. probably not necessary if you tweak the tone. I'll try and set up a patch for it today :)
i'm glad i can call you a friend. even if i'll never see you again

Yeah no Shimmer involved in the afteeneath, just treble. I could get close with the Multitap or Using 2 reverse delays with odd odd intervals on the Timefactor. I'm sure you could get pretty close on the DD500
