Any Experience with the Dunlop 535Q

Post by Kellanium »

It's supposed to be their Cadillac, 6 Wah Ranges, q knob, switchable boost, and almost certainly my next aquisition.

So does anyone have experience with it? Because I'd like to hear about it before i buy one.

ive got a 535q and i really like it. you are able to customize your wah tone pretty well. messing with the q and sweep it can go from really subtle dark tones, to really thick honks, and really nasally trebly tones. i like the boost on it, but i find if i set its volume too high it will distort, in almost like a mixer clipping type of way (volume in the red). it works great with pedals and natural amp cleans and distortion too.

overall its a great wah with great tone shaping options and is really fun to play. :thumb:

i too have a 535Q

i bought off of ebay for $75.00 a few years back only to find it was the old 18volt one... :grumpy: seller said only used a few times. did not say it was used a few times back in 1998... :grumpy:

hey, it sounds great! the q trimp pot on the bottom can really let you dial in the tone you are looking for and the knob on the side lets you adjust eq setting. i dont use the volume boost at all. i just had my friend widen the stroke and now this thing kills!

i owned a mr crybaby super and borrowed a bimebag crybaby and this one is better imho... :thumb:
