I saw Dungen last night and they blew my mind. The guitarist had this mind bending infinite sustain sound with the help of an old Klemt Echolette unit on top of his Plexi.
Anyone out there making approximations of this unit in pedal form? I must have it.

The most similar thing I've seen in pedal format is the Boonar, from Prince Electronics. It is inspired by the echorec, though:

If you are into diy pedals you can aslo try the Multiplex, from 1776. It is PT2399 based and really, really nice:

Are you looking for the preamp Distortion sound? If so, I'm sure somebody could clone the tube preamp...or at least make a work a like.

I'm just sad at the lack of a pedal with Klimt on it.

Did the guitarist use any other pedals? I know he's often using an old Carlin compressor that really makes his Strat sing. Kinda his signature sound with those controlled musical feedbacks.

I know the reviews I've read of it, that is what they rave about. I've seen people use old tube reverbs like that too (and the Alamo I had I thought sounded nice).WeHuntKings wrote:Maybe that's the secret sauce I'm hearing.lordgalvar wrote:Are you looking for the preamp Distortion sound? I'm sure the combo of compressor (like hypnodrone said), preamp, and maybe some delay would probably sound awesome.
