A mic into a count to five is a LOT of fun. I had a mic going through a couple drive pedals and then a ct5, and was fucking around and said hmm I wonder if I tried just talking into the microph...OMG insanity. Like how did I not think to try this sooner. Endless robot demon vocalization hijinks! Skip the recorder, hand your kids the mic, show them how to tweak the ct5, it will probably keep them occupied for several hoursnshuman wrote: I need a Kazoo. Maybe I should use a mic to sample my kids playing the recorder and then I run that through my board?

I'm trying to make music that sounds like a space Rougelike game, something that's calm and slightly uncomfortable bordering on a mild creepy atmosphere.

Did I do right? Still wip but I'm unsure of the quality.

I like this! What did you use to make it?
not that you're asking for my feedback but I feel like the tones and textures are right on, it's just missing the DEEP SPACE verb, but balancing that with upfront song-y elements (like, for example, a kick), is a tricky thing.

Yeah, that's what has me unsure about the quality. The lack of verb is because I'm recording on my iPad since I lack a permanent home right now and haven't set up a lot of my stuff, also because I wanted the glitchy elements to not get lost in the sea of verb. The iPad is fantastic at mangling stuff however, which makes for weird textures.
