OK so it's not totally done yet. I havent gotten the straplocks in and I'm waiting on the 4 way switch to come in so right now I just have the neck pickup wired straight to the jack. And you know what? Fuck some controls. I'm just going to put the 4 way switch in and run that shit straight to the jack. It sounds so rad. Punchy bottom with some glassy highs. Fucking grinds with some OD. But not in a harsh icepick way. Just harmonic as fuck. So yeah. This thing is just gonna be my rip your face off riff machine. Sounds nice clean too but I rarely play totally clean.

It does need a setup though. There are some dead spots on the fretboard, mostly in the first few frets. Maybe I need to adjust the truss rod? I can't get the action to go any higher. It's mostly on the higher strings.

Anyways, it's playable. I haven't tried to set it up too much. Just marvelling at how good it feels in my hands.

Got the 4 way switching done and holy shit this thing is a BEAST. I'm thinking of doing away with the parallel option altogether and just having it bridge/series/neck. :cool:

B to B with a 13-62 set. Pretty much perfect. If the strings were any heavier it would be in bass VI territory.

Also, it's bigger than my short scale bass. :lol:
