You want to have just one boob?

Whatever floats your boat. Er... I mean.... whatever floats your single boob.
I am a little fat and do have boobs and once actually gave advice to a girl about where to put her boob while playing guitar. In the curve, or behind the guitar? In the curve is way more comfortable :idk:

Yeah that 5-way setup is pretty sweet, right? Read about that recently—I really wanna try one of these out.

I want one of these so badly. Too bad they'll never show up here for me to try. Seems like too much money to cash out for a body shape that I'm not sure I'd like playing. Still, one of the sexiest guitars I've seen.

Or even 2. Something about 3 pickup guitars irritates me.

I really love this guitar. I don't think I'll ever step up to a "nice guitar" but if I did this would be it. the 5 way is so interesting. I might put a third pickup in my partscastermaster thing and try this.

Oddly enough, I imagine they'll be pretty difficult to try here too. Music Man's a really weird brand... not typically carried by smaller/indie stores (or at least not that I've seen anywhere, really), and they don't ever seem to show up at the shitty colossus that is Guitar Center, despite it being listed as a dealer (seems like GC pretty much markets solely to suburban teens these days).

I went through this same thing when, speak of the devil, I saw Annie Clark playing a Music Man Albert Lee. Couldn't find one to check out anywhere locally, and got no response when I emailed MM to ask if there were any dealers in my area. Pretty wack.

That AL sig model in orange with 3 P90s still gives me a chub, would love to actually be able to play one sometime.

GC has always pretty much marketed to suburban teens, you just notice it more when you're not that market any more. I never was, but it's always been the store for teens and blues lawyers.

And I have nothing against GC, it's just expecting them to be anything else is a little silly.

MM's distribution has always sucked ass though.

I'd be half tempted to try one of these but it's at least $300 too high to consider - my cutoff for oddball is about $1500 and then it's a "this has to be amazing" piece because I'm going to pay for it for a year.

Yeah, I love the body shape. I'd love to see them make a bass with the same look, although I wonder with the faceted top if that is even possible (or maybe they'd have to go with a short scale neck, since the bridge can only go back so far). I doubt they will, but this doesn't stop me from wishing it.

Good news: My local GC had a shipment of NAMM arrivals the other day, w/ many Music Man on the wall all fresh (Cutlass, Petrucci, Majesty & Stingray, whole bunch of others). There were boxes of guitars everywhere, but no St. Vincent (yet?). Previously they only had the odd Sterling bass lying around, so maybe this will bode well for the rest of the country, et. al (I live in the middle of it).

I'm of the popular persuasion that $2k for a guitar is robbery, but after selling my last upgraded Squier offset to someone a few weeks ago, and passing on a sweet offer for a 60's Bobkat this weekend, I think I'm ready for that bigger investment, as the St. Vincent is pretty much everything I've ever wanted in a guitar, sans dream-type/mythical scenarios. That GC also had a surf green US Tele w/ an all-rosewood neck, which was so sweet, & thereabout sold me on the MM, though I know that neck will be a little wider. And all I have to do is stay relatively pedge for a little while (lord willin'), & maybe sell another pedal or two....

Don't think these have shipped yet, they're still preorder from the big retailers.
