i lol'd at this joke. Thanks. I used to know someone who had a denim vest studded with Quartz and Amethyst chunks. I was jelly. I think those jewel LEDs are kinda ugly, personally, but support most fashion experiments.

Heck yea! I'm all for people bridging MC5 to Lärm and stuff.

First time I saw Street kids with the lighter tips bent all around their hoodies...I though that was the coolest thing (I was like 12)...then I tried it...my hair got all freaking caught in 'em.

Oh fucking god, I still have all my crustlord and goth accoutrements... can't wear them anymore. Wish I still could, I looked fucking great in bullet belts and studded vests and weird jewelry, etc. But like, I have chronic back pain from lyme disease and doc martens are so bad for you, i used to always cut myself/get caught on the studs, and my neck would literally hurt from necklaces and shit, plus those clothes are just not warm in the winter, no matter how much i would pretend, and I can't wear that shit to work, and by the time I get home from work I just wanna be in my sweatpants. At least they're Napalm Death sweatpants.

Haha. I got lucky with my metal allergy, I guess. No metal for me. I once had a bracket I made from the eyelets of my converse...well I had like 4 or 5. I used to do all this crazy hippie wrap so I didn't have to tie them in a knot. Added studs to em. Broke out in a rash like crazy...so never all that crazy really. Just all black.

The thing is though, I still pickup backpatches and patches...I don't know the point of it...but it is like some kind of socialized need to fix tears with "gauze" patches and stuff...I'm too old and it don't work any more. Just a stack of cool patches in a box haha.

Saw this post pre-edit? I still have dental floss sewn carhartts, and sewing is one of the best skills I learned from crust lord days. Still have a bunch of patches I will never use bc I don't like most of those bands anymore. Need to pass them on to some young (closeted?) punk, pay it forward or whatever. I still want patches, just of better bands/things.

Haha, I was editing it just so I could reword some stuff and got sidetracked by drinking tiredness haha.

Yea, nothing that important haha...just me rambling. And typing on a phone sucks....wife and friends were like "put down your phone"... Which is funny because I am on it the least out of all of em...but being bored = go on the board haha.

Carharts are the best though. Too damn expensive unless on sale.

Once every few years I get enough money to buy myself carhartt something and it fucking lasts forever, and besides punk i used to do more physical jobs, so they were more than worth it. I have had one pair of pants for over half a decade. Love em. Wish they broke in faster.

Yea haha. Every time I washed them and air dried...I had to break them in again.

Last pair I got I tore up in under a week (though I was in crawl spaces and attics for 12 hours a day that week). They were also 35$ on Amazon...I think they have a few lower models or there is a counterfeit maker out there? Best ones I always got were at the surplus stores... Always double knee too.

My first pair last 5 years (though they were pretty shredded before I retired them).

Worst thing was in the 120 degree heat I worked in...I would get burned by the rivets sometimes...not bad, just like "ow, oh yea!".

Definitely been burned by rivets. Hated the old ones that had crotch rivets
